Grim Realm Incident Bumble System (GRIBS)  

The Grim Realm Incident Bumble System (GRIBS) is a stand-alone Role Playing Tool and interface which produces random bumbles for Melee, Magic, Missiles, Movement and Magical Weapons (or Items).

Included with the random bumbles, there is also a random Lair Treasure generator, a Random Encounter Loot generator, a set of die rollers to include a 360 degree die as well as a 100 sided die, percentile and a couple of combos.

In addition to this, there is a random hit location chart for Player Characters (PC's) and for Non Player Characters (NPC's). One button click displays a random generated hit for a PC and an NPC simultaneously! Just click and watch as the reticle moves about to indicate the hits.
Installed with nearly all of the bumbles, treasure and loot generators, hit location charts are Campaign Master (CM) Tooltips (a.k.a. Dungeon Masters or Games Masters). These tooltips further explain the results of the bumbles or hit locations and give the Campaign Master guidance. Of course, guidance may be altered to suit the Campaign Master's needs. A simple mouse over allows the CM to view further explanations. This keeps the pertinent information hidden from the player should they happen to view the screen. The CM may divulge the information with the player(s) or sit back and enjoy the ponderings of the players as they try to figure their way out of their dilemna.

The GRIBS is not graphic intensive. When creating this we kept K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) in mind. It seems gaudy to us as it is but it serves the purpose of delivering and sharing a dream come true. This system was first created on graph paper and required several pages...

Now it is built into a seamless ebook interface which allows quick references through the click or mouse over of a mouse.

Grim Realm's current return policy is as follows: Grim Realm will, at its option, replace or repair any defective product within 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days all sales are final.

Installation:
To install the GRIBS, download and save the executable file (or zipped archive--which will need to be extracted afterwards of course) to the desktop and then click when ready to use. No other installation required. File size is approximately 8.13 MB and took less than a minute to download using a cable connection. Cable and other connections may vary.

System Requirements:
In order to use the GRIBS, you will need a computer with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT4, Me, 2000 or XP, and Internet Explorer 4 or later installed. This program is optimized for Internet Explorer.

Noteable "Issues":
In some cases, a javascript error prompt may occur asking if you want to run the scripts on the page anyways. Clicking "Yes" does no harm but may render the current CM Tip to not work. In most cases, turning off javascript debugging in your browser(s) may fix this issue. Currently, no errors are reported when running the GRIBS. "Older" systems or systems which do not support DHTML or lack an updated javascripting interface may experience an altered format for the GRIBS, errors or simply not work at all. In this instance, get a new Personal Computer! We're kidding! If this occurs, let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
